Benchmarking Steinwurf’s FEC for SD-WAN Service Providers
The Steinwurf team recently carried out extensive benchmarking on Rely - our next gen, low latency FEC. The first of these benchmarks focused on comparing the performance of Rely, with an example of an FEC scheme implemented by a leading SD-WAN provider.
The benchmarking analysis goes on to show that by using Rely, SD-WAN providers can gain a serious and significant performance advantage compared to using legacy FEC schemes.
Steinwurf’s FEC, is unique in its ability to offer a solution that’s good (reliable), fast (low latency), and cheap (lower repair cost and bandwidth usage) all at once!
