Why NanoPing?

For more than a decade, Steinwurf has delivered cutting-edge technology: reliable transport over unreliable networks, network coding, FEC, and custom protocol stacks. Most of it behind the scenes. Often in mission-critical settings. And always with performance in mind.

But let’s be honest: the name *Steinwurf* never made that clear. If anything, it created distance. We’re changing that now.

NanoPing is simple. It’s fast to say, easier to remember, and it points to what we do best: ultra-low latency communication, precision-focused engineering, and scalable components that just work.

What changes?

The essentials stay the same. Our people. Our core technology. Our commitment to working closely with engineers and decision-makers. What’s new is how we package and present it. Expect a more focused product, better documentation, and a licensing structure that actually makes sense — whether you’re building a prototype or managing a global deployment.

We want it to feel easier to get started. And easier to grow with us.
