Introducing our newest team member at Steinwurf

A very warm Steinwurf welcome to Heidi who joined our team in Aalborg last month.

We interviewed Heidi recently and wanted to share the script to introduce her.

Take a look at the script of the interview below for some insight into working at Steinwurf and our newest recruit.

Steinwurf:

Hello from the Steinwurf team!

Today we wanted to take a moment to introduce the newest member of the Steinwurf team - Heidi! Would you like to introduce yourself and what your role is, Heidi?

Heidi:
Hello, and thank you for having me on the team! I'm Heidi, and I'm a frontend developer here at Steinwurf. I'm excited to be working with such a talented and passionate group of people.

Steinwurf:
You've been with us a little over a month now. Have you been enjoying yourself and settled into your role?

Heidi:
Yes, I've been settling in nicely over the past month. The team has been incredibly welcoming, and I've been enjoying getting to know everyone and learning about the work we do.

Steinwurf:
So far what's been the most interesting part of being part of our team?

Heidi:
So far, the most interesting part for me has been the opportunity to build frontend solutions from scratch and research the technologies we'll use to bring them to life. It's been a rewarding process to work with the team to identify the best tools for the job and then see the project take shape.

Steinwurf:
As you should know by now our favourite time of day is lunchtime at our excellent canteen, have you adopted this passion of ours yet?

Heidi:
Absolutely! Lunchtime has always been a favourite of mine, so I fit right in with the team's passion for this. The food is delicious, and the environment is beautiful - it's a great place to relax and recharge during the day. I appreciate that the team places a high value on this daily ritual, as it fosters a sense of community and collaboration, that contributes to a happy work environment.

Steinwurf:
What advice would you give other engineers looking to join our great team?

Heidi:
If I were to give advice to other engineers looking to join our great team, I would say that they should come prepared to bring their passion and enthusiasm for their work. In addition to being a team player, they should also have the ability to work independently when needed. One of the great things about our team is that we trust each other to get the job done, and that means taking ownership of your work and being accountable for your results. With that level of trust comes the freedom to explore new ideas and take risks, knowing that the team has your back. So my advice would be to follow your passion, bring your best ideas to the table, and have the confidence to take on new challenges. You'll be joining a team that values collaboration, creativity, and innovation. Then I have no doubt that you'll thrive here at Steinwurf.

Steinwurf:
Thank you very much Heidi.
That's a wrap from steinwurf, stay tuned to our channels for more interesting video demos of our technology in action.
Have a great day!
